Inner Wheel Club organises cancer screening camp

UDHAMPUR: Inner wheel club and Rotary eye club and general foundation in joint collaboration organised two day long cancer screening and awareness camp at village Jib in Udhampur in which team of doctors screened more than hundred women by conducting memography test.
The camp was inaugurated Club President Mohini Begra amidst inner wheel Rotorians, team of expert led by Dr. Kuldeep Singh examined more than one hindered women and conducted memography test on the spot. Particular camp was organised under District chairperson ISO Priti Khajuria told theme of camp as “Strong women Strong world” to diagnose cancer victims in camp conducted at Jib and to create awareness among the rural women folks and keep them update about increasing side effects of dreaded disease like breast cancer which is speedly spreading among women of all ages. She disclosed in order to carry Memography test a special fully equipped and having fun setup in Van was called from Jalandhar (Punjab) in their support. She disclosed after conducted tests who so ever shall be given anti cancer treatment also free of costs. Others who present in camp were Inner wheel club Neelam Begra, Anu Senson, Manju Baru, Ranju Devi and eye hospital chairman DN Sharma, Rotorian Ashwani Khajuria, Rajinder Senson, col. Har Govind Singh and Pritam Kotwal.
