15 bovines rescued, three smugglers arrested

Jammu: Continuing its drive against bovine smuggling, Jammu Police rescued 15 bovines at different locations. Four different vehicles were seized including a tata mobile (6596/JK02AE) by Nagrota Police, a truck (JK02AR/8759) by Jhajjar Kotli Police and two vehicles without registration numbers by Akhnoor Police.
In this regard, FIR No. 133/2021 under sections 188 of IPC and 11 of PCA Act was registered in Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and three accused were arrested, who were identified as Sukdev Singh, son of Bahadur Chand, resident of R S Pura Jammu arrested by Nagrota Police; Sunil Phool, son of Ashok Kumar, resident of Mohalla Kala Khan Poonch and Shail Singh, son of Sardar Singh, resident of Kalakot Rajouri, arrested by Akhnoor Police.
