DODA: J&K Dharmarth Trust has expressed profound gratitude to the Chairman District Development Council (DDC) Doda, Dhananter Singh for developmental works at various temples of Doda District. In this connection, a Manager of J&K Dharmarth Trust, Arjun Singh on behalf of Trust’s President Ajay Gandotra called upon DDC Chairman Dhananter Singh and thanked him for installation of solar lights at Gupt Ganga Temple besides other temples of the Trust in the district. He apprised the Chairman District Development Council about the significant role played by Dharmarth Trust in maintaining the Temple. Dhananter Singh after receiving a detailed briefing from Trust Manager about the latest status of development at the Gupt Ganga and other temples in Kishtwar, appreciated the relentless efforts of Dharmarth Trust for maintaining and taking proper care of temples across the Jammu and Kashmir and providing state-of-art facilities to the devotees visiting temples falling under the realm of the Trust.
The DDC Chairman conveyed that overall development is high on the agenda of Union Govt especially that of remote and far flung areas for which funds are not the constraint. He said that temples are an inseparable part of the culture and identity of a civilization besides their religious significance for the people. Dhananter Singh assured that the Trust will get full support of District Development Council in every sector be it development of the temples or promoting religious tourism in this part of the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.
