JAMMU: Three absconders evading arrest since 11-12 years were arrested by police on Friday.
As per details, three hardcore criminal cum absconders namely Wali Mohd, son of Mohd Hussain, resident of R S Pura who was booked in FIR No.92/2020 under sections 341/323/506 of IPC and 4/25 of A Act at Police Station R S Pura; Farid Ali, son of Mohd Hussain, resident of R S Pura who was booked in FIR No. 92/2020 under sections 341/323/506 of IPC and 4/25 of A Act at Police Station R S Pura and Ram Lal, son of Faqir Chand, resident of Fatwal Banachak, Tehsil Bishnah, booked in FIR No. 56/2010 under section 376 of RPC at Police Station Bishnah, have finally been arrested.
Jammu Police was looking for these absconders from last 11 to 12 years. Finally, information was received through reliable sources about accused. Acting swiftly, special police teams of Police Stations R S Pura and Bishnah under the supervision of SDPO R S Pura Shabir Khan were constituted. The team led by SHO R S Pura Insp Jai Pal Sharma and SHO Bishnah Insp Joginder Singh raided the suspected locations and arrested accused persons. The overall operation was led by SP Hqrs Ramnish Gupta. Finally, the criminals were produced before the Court in Jammu.
