AKHNOOR: The vaccination drive against COVID-19 continued for the second day at Government Degree College Akhnoor after the successful vaccination of 500 students as well as members the non-teaching staff on the first day. The drive is being conducted under the aegis of The Department of Health, Government of Jammu and Kashmir. The department has made1200 dozes of the “Covishield” vaccine available at the college campus. The principal of the college, Dr. Namarta expressed the hope that the enthusiastic response from the students is indicative of the fact that a great number of college students are benefiting from the vaccination drive. The SOPs are strictly being followed and a large response from the students is seen on the second day as well.
