JK Public School Panjtirthi celebrates World Heritage Day

JAMMU: World Heritage Day was celebrated at JK Public School Panjtirthi where students were told about the true meaning of heritage, its importance and the need of its preservation.
A beautiful skit was exhibited on seven incredible and famous heritage of the world by the Jakiians of class 7th.
Jakiians put up an informative and entertaining presentation highlighting that heritage refers to practices that are passed down through the years, from one generation to the next which includes culture, tradition, clothing, flora, fauna and also historical monuments.
They also depicted the richness and vulnerability of Indian Heritage through slogans, recitations and beautiful banners.
Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi, Suman Banbah said, “Heritage is our legacy, what we live with today, and what we pass on to future generations. Our natural and cultural heritage are both irreplaceable and the same are our inspiration Our heritage is our prized possession. We are proud of Indian heritage.”
