SOPORE: Continuing its efforts to eradicate menace of drugs, Police on Sunday arrested a notorious drug peddler and recovered Psychotropic substance from his possession.
As per details, officers at a checkpoint established at Achabal crossing intercepted a suspect. During search, 1,104 capsules of Spasmoproxyvon Plus were recovered from his possession. The accused, identified as Ishfaq Mushtaq Mir @ Pin Mir, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Mir, resident of Achabal Sopore, was arrested and shifted to police station where he remained in custody. Accordingly, FIR No. 72/2022 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Sopore and further investigation started.
