JAMMU: An eventful initiative from the Sports Kempo association of J&K, 2 day long 5th National Sports Kempo championship 2021-2022 organized by Sports Kempo Association India at J&K sports council hall, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu concluded on Monday.
The National championship included more than 300 players and coaches from different states of India. The championship was declared open by Chief Guest Amin Pathon Chairman, Dargah committee Ajmer, Govt. of India.
Prominent among other present on the occasion were our special guests Dr. Ravi Lalwani (President of Sports Kempo Association India& Representative of International Kempo Federation); Samurai Reshma Lalwani and Farooq Ahmed Dhar. The championship was organised under the vigilant guidance and supervision of Gul-e-Surkhab (President – Sports Kempo Association of J&K) and well supported by General Secretary Harshvardhan Raina, General Secretary Kempo Association of J&K.
Day 2 was commenced as closing ceremony by Chief guest Ranbir Jasrotia(MA City Judge) . Guest of honour Dr. SM Bali , Joint Secretary Indian Olympic Association.
Special guest list included Tarun Uppal – Social activist; Vikas Dogra(Manager Indoor Complex Bhagwati Nagar Jammu), Sunil Kumar Sawhney , Chandan Dutta- Social Activist . The players were delighted and were filled with enthusiam and zeal ;their brightened face were indicating their passion and dedication for the sport. At the end the players were felicitated and rewarded with medals and trophies for their efforts and hardwork. Concluding, the association gave vote of thanks to all the dignitaries ,guests, officials and coaches who marked their presence and worked hand in hand for the successful event.
