STATE TIMES NEWS REASI: As part of the ongoing “Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav”, singing of the National Anthem was held today across district Reasi with great patriotism and unity. At District level, National Anthem singing programme was organised in the lawns of Mini Secretariat complex under the stewardship and presence of DC, Charandeep Singh. Students of Girls Higher Secondary School, district officers and officials presented an impressive rendition of National Anthem. Chairman DDC and Chairperson, BDC, Additional District Development Commissioner Jyoti Slathia; CPO Sunita Kanchan; PO ICDS Renu Kumari; ACD Anirudh Rai; ACR Sanjay Badyal; CEO MohammadAziz; CAO Sudhir Singh; DYSSO Subhash Chandra; CHO Brij Vallabh Gupta; DSWO Gulshan Kumar; AD FCS&CA Mohammad Sayeed and other concerned officers and officials also participated in the National Anthem Singing. Similar events were held at Subdivision, Tehsil, Block and Panchayat levels with full enthusiasm and patriotism. Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that as part of ongoing “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav” it was planned that National Anthem will be recited in each and every Government Office at Subdivision, Tehsil, Block and Panchayat level and appreciated general public for actively participating in the said event. He informed that many more activities will be organised in the coming days and encouraged the general public to participate with full patriotism and enthusiasm to make the 75th year of Independence a memorable event.
