HIRANGAR: Police on Monday seized 2 vehicles indulged in illegal mining at Hiranagar.
As per details, acting tough against illegal mining within the district, a team of Police Station Hiranagar under supervision of SHO Hiranagar in its jurisdictional area found a dumper (JK21F-6399) indulged in illegal mining which was being used for illegal transportation of construction material. While in another instance team from Police Post Chadwal under the supervision of In-Charge Police Post Chadwal noticed a tractor-trolley indulged in illegal mining and used for illegal transportation of construction material. Meanwhile both the vehicles were seized and handed over to officials of the Mining Department Kathua for further legal course of action.
