JAMMU: A seminar titled ‘Drug abuse awareness and prevention’ was organized on Monday by Central GST Commissionerate, Jammu and Kashmir in collaboration with KC International School, Jammu to sensitize the students on drug abuse and illicit trafficking and its impact on society at large.
To commemorate 75 years of independence, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has launched ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav Calendar’, which includes various activities and programmes to be carried out during the year.
For this month an online webinar was organized for the students of KC International School, Jammu on Monday to promote awareness about drug abuse amongst the students.
The students were informed about the rising menace of drugs which has become very prevalent in our present day society especially amongst students and children.
The seminar was presented by Vikramaditya Meena, Deputy Commissioner CGST Jammu and Sunil Ganjoo, Superintendent CGST Jammu under the guidance of Mahesh Kumar Rustogi, Principal Commissioner CGST Jammu.
