Jammu: Continuing its drive against menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which teams from Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and Police Post Sidhra acted stringently on specific inputs and raided at different locations in their respective areas and seized five different vehicles involved in illegal mining. The vehicles include 2 dumpers (JK02CL 7752, JK02AF 1095) and a Tipper (JK02CJ 9645) seized by Sidhra police; a dumper (JK02CR 6424) seized by Jhajjar Kotli Police and a Tipper (JK21F 1853) seized by Manwal police.
The vehicles were seized by SHO Jhajjar Kotli Insp Devinder Singh, Incharge Police Post Sidhra SI Shakil Ahmed and Inchareg Police Post Manwal Insp Vikram Singh Jasrotia. The overall seizure and recoveries were made under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Parupkar Singh.
