Jammu: In a drive against sale of banned synthetic threads (Manja) various raids were conducted in different locations by Jammu Police. A team of DSB Jammu rounded up a person with 50-55 rolls of synthetic threads (Manja). The accused was identified as Shuvam Kumar, son of Suresh Kumar, resident of Kali Jani. The cognizance was taken by Police Post Rehari Jammu. The arrest was made in violation of DM order regarding ban on sale of plastic/synthetic thread (Manja). The overall arrest and recoveries were made under the supervision of Dy SP Jagdev Singh.
