BJP represents criminal ideology of division for sake of power: Tak

Kishtwar: Asserting that the current political and administrative chaos has pushed younger generation to wall, senior Peoples Democratic Party leader and former legislator Firdous Tak on Friday exhorted upon the youth to engage in political process in order to bring meaningful and sustainable change on the ground.
“Youth are getting trapped in a narrative being set with communal and fanatic objectives. The administrative coercion and absence of any political atmosphere has caused serious dent on the psyche of youth, who are passing through a challenging phase of uncertainty and fear”, Tak said adding, “An idea can only be defeated with an idea and political ideology can be countered with political outreach only”.
The former legislator was addressing a youth interaction programme organized by PDP district youth unit Kishtwar. State Secretary Advocate Sheikh Nasir Hussain, Media Coordinator Choudhary Parvez Wafa, District Youth President Wasil Doolwal, Arshad Giri, Nazir Ahmed Lone, Sarpanch, Molvi Khalid Iqbal, Basharat Hussain, Anoop Thakur, Panch, Raj Kumar, Panch, Sajad Hussain, Panch, Altaf Hussain, Naib Sarpanch, Ayaz Hussain, Panch were among other present. Prominent youth activists joined PDP on the occasion.
Referring to the increase in violence activities and spilling over of terrorism from Kashmir to other parts of the erstwhile state, Tak said, “There are forces who want you to pick up arms and through stone. They want to earn applause on our graves and appease their supporters by projecting us just a numbers”.
He said that Bhartiya Janta Party does not represent any religion but only a “criminal ideology of division for the sake of power”. “If you want to defeat these forces and counter their actions of division, the only way is by being pExhorting upon the youth to be catalyst of change he said, “It’s our collective responsibility to bring the state out of the current morass. Instead of being trapped in negativities we must stand and strengthen the mission to fight for dignity and honour of our people by democratic means”.
Advocate Sheikh Nasir, Choudhary Parvez Wafa also spoke on the occasion.
