Jammu: In two-day long marathon PTM session, JK Public School Kunjwani explained the New Assessment Scheme of CBSE, for the session 2021-22, to the parents and students in section-wise groups.
Friday, 20 Aug 2021, parents of classes IX and X were invited for a virtual meeting. The School Principal, Vandana Sharma herself hosted the meetings for Class X in two sessions deliberating upon the new assessment scheme.
The Board has made a provision for two Term examinations – One for Mid Term and one for End Term. Both will be conducted by the CBSE.
The Board has also made provision for various scenarios regarding the Pandemic situation and depending upon the prevailing conditions, exam will be conducted.
For Class IX, the Vice Principal Shashi Rattan hosted the meeting for one group and Kamal Sharma, the Examination Incharge hosted the 2nd Group.
Both the meetings were attended by almost 90% of the parents totaling the number in one meeting up to 99 at one time.
At the end of each meeting, there was a question-answer session in which queries of the parents were answered.
On Saturday, parents of classes XI and XII were invited for the virtual PTM and the meetings were hosted by Shaveta Khajuria PGT (Eng) for Class XI Science Group, Parvinder Kaur PGT (Accounts) for XII Commerce Group and Yashu Jain, PGT (Psychology) for the Humanities Groups of XI and XII.
Munish Gupta, PGT (Economics) hosted the meeting for Class XI Commerce and Cherry Gupta PGT (Eng) hosted the meeting for Class XI Science groups.
All these meetings were very informative and interactive wherein the teachers of various subjects were answering the queries along with the host.
The session on “New CBSE Assessment Policy” was a very successful and enriching for the students and parents.
