JAMMU: Cops had a narrow escape after bovine smugglers broke Naka in Gharota area while cops managed to move away timely. A police team laid a Naka in Thathi area and signaled a truck to stop but driver instead of stopping, smashed into the Naka and fled away along with vehicle. Cops on duty timely jumped from Naka timely, averting a major tragedy. The truck has been identified and a manhunt has been launched the trace it.
