JAMMU: Compact High Density plantation of 2000 Mango and Citrus plants over an area of 100 kanal was inaugurated today at Jourian under the CAPEX scheme.
Sub Divisional Magistrate Khour, Anil Kumar Thakur; Chief Horticulture officer Jammu S. Sarabjit Singh and DL SMS Entomology Sanjeev Kumar inaugurated the drive.
Horticulture Development Officer Khour apprised about the progress made under various components of the different schemes.
The CHO Jammu and SDM Khour appreciated the efforts of officers and officials of the block Khour in achieving the targets allotted under the various centre and UT sponsored schemes of the department for the year 2021-22.
Present on the occasion was Chairman Block Development Council Khour, Balbir Singh.
Later, the Chief Horticulture Officer Jammu inspected the other plantation spots of block Khour.
