NOWSHERA: Kalal Rashtriya Rifles Battalion felicitated Veer Naris residing in the Battalion Area of responsibility on the occasion of AWWA day. Five Veer Naris were presented with gifts as a thoughtful gesture on the occasion. Kartar Devi, wife of late Lance Naik Guldeep Singh, resident of Mangla Devi; Rakhmat Bi, wife of late Rifleman Mohd Bashir, resident of Gagrote; Neelam Choudhary, wife of late Naib Subedar Yash Pal resident of Dharat; Pinky Devi, wife of late Rakesh Kumar resident of Dharat and Madhu Bala,wife of late Havildar Suresh Kumar, resident of Hanjana Thakara were felicitated. The interactive session with the Veer Naris gave an informal platform for them to share their problems and difficulties.
The Veer Naris thanked the Army for the gesture and assured their participation towards growth of the society. The Veer Naris appreciated the efforts being taken by the Army for upliftment and providing support to the local populace and in bringing peace and harmony in the society.
