STATE TIMES NEWS UDHAMPUR: Municipal Council Udhampur (MCU), Councillor Vikram Singh Slathia on Saturday dedicated lane with tiled floor from Durga Mata Temple to Railway Road in Ward 06 to the public, constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 4.61 lakhs. The inauguration was done by ADDC Udhampur, Kanta Devi in presence of CEO, Municipal Council Udhampur, Sanjeev Gandotra. Speaking on the occasion, Slathia assured his ward residents that he will leave no stone unturned for the development of the area and to make his ward, the best in the town. He urged upon the residents to avoid using single-use plastics, polythenes in their routine work and cooperate to keep the city clean. Locals present on the occasion were Vijay Bhardwaj, Mohinder Singh Rana, Shiv Dev Singh, KhemrajKhajuria, Dr B.P. Sharma, Jai Kishan, Prithvi Raj, Pardeep Singh, Kuldeep Singh and Narotam Singh.
