‘Eat-Right Challenge’ play staged during Jashn-e-Rajouri

RAJOURI: A Nukkad Natak ‘Eat-Right-Challenge’ was staged by the Food & Drug Control Department during ‘Jashn-e-Rajouri’ programme on Saturday.
The aim of the Nukad Natak was to impart awareness among people regarding ill effects of eating junk-food and inspiring them to prefer neat and clean home-made food for remaining hale and hearty. While speaking on the occasion Assistant Commissioner, Ajit Singh Johar said that we should always take food with less oil, less salt, less sugar and avoid over-eating for good health.
He further said that children get more attracted towards junk food but parents should educate them and restrain them from consuming such eatables because these are harmful for health. Others present on the occasion included Inspector Manoj Kumar, Navneet Gupta, Sanjeev Bal and Raes Malik.
