On his last day in office, CJI N V Ramana on Friday said his only regret was that he could not pay “much attention” to prompt listing of fresh cases filed by litigants and added that CJI-designate U U Lalit, who will take oath as 49th CJI on Saturday, has promised to endeavour and make the listing system expeditious and transparent.
