Until now thousands of British holidaymakers relied on visa agents to obtain their India tourist visas for them for a fee. But on Monday evening the agents got a notification that visa agents were no longer allowed to obtain tourist visas on applicants’ behalf and instead the applicants had to present themselves in person at the VFS global application centres.
