The weekly Covid-19 test positivity rate is on the rise in Bengaluru but BBMP is yet to confirm any infection of the new XBB variant of Omicron. The variant detected in Singapore and the US in August has already been tracked in four states in India, reports Pearl DSouza. On October 15, the weekly test positivity rate was 4.8% in BBMP limits, up from 4.2% the previous day.
