On February 14, 2019, a suicide bomber affiliated with the Jaish-e-Mohammed terror outfitrammed his explosives-laden vehicle into a CRPF convoy, killing 40 personnel in Pulwama’s Lethapora. Bengaluru police had arrested Rasheed, a third-year electronic and communication student, three days after the Pulwama incident. He was in Bengaluru Central Prison since his arrest.
