Bhupendra Patel will continue as the chief minister of Gujarat for the second straight term. The announcement was made at a meeting of the newly-elected BJP MLAs in Gujarat on Saturday. The meeting was called to pick a new legislative party leader. Patel’s name was declared as the leader of the legislative party unanimously at the meeting held at the party’s state headquarters ‘Kamalam’.
