Randhawa calls on Mudgal, discusses various issues

JAMMU: State Secretary Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K and former Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, on Wednesday called upon Principal Secretary, Co-operative Department, Yasha Mudgal at Civil Secretariat Jammu and discussed various issues pertaining to the Co-operative Department.
During his interaction with the Principal Secretary, Randhawa raised the issue of the retired employees of Central Co-operative Bank.
He informed that many of the bank employees who were retired some two to three years ago have yet not received their post retirement benefits following which they are facing many hardships, particularly, during ongoing pandemic.
He urged upon the chair to resolve their issue urgently so that these retirees may lead a happy post retirement life.
Randhawa also raked up the issue of the election to the Sainik Colony Housing Board which is due since long.
He told Mudgal that due to the absence of elected Board Members the people are facing many problems.
He sought the personal intervention of the Principal Secretary into the matter so that elections to Sainik Colony Housing Board could be conducted at earliest and the elected members of the Board may help in addressing the genuine issues of the people.
Randhawa further informed Yasha Mudgal regarding the release of the salaries of the employees of the Co-operative Training Centres. He said that the salaries of these employees are pending since long and should be released immediately so that their families may be able to meet two ends of the life.
Yasha Mudgal gave a patient hearing to all demands raised by the former MLC and assured early redressal of all demands.
Randhawa expressed his gratitude to the officer for her patient hearing and assurance of redressal of the genuine issues pertaining to her department.
