Hospitals across India are carrying out mock drills on Tuesday to check the preparedness of health facilities to handle any spike in Covid-19 cases. In the wake of a spurt in Covid-19 cases in some countries like China, Japan, Brazil and South Korea, the Union government has issued guidelines, asking the hospitals to conduct mock exercises across the country. Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya said to make sure there isn’t Covid surge in country, PM Modi has asked us to be careful. “Govt is also preparing, if at all covid cases increase. Today mock drills are conducted across covid hospitals in the country to make sure people get proper treatment.” Stay with TOI for all live updates–
