Railways and communications minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who has been instrumental in modernising the railways while working on next-gen digital and telecom policies, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a hard taskmaster, who pushes his ministers and others in the government to look at global scale and technologies, but with a clear mission to indigenise them.
