LEH: Bharatiya Janata Party District Leh on Thursday held an executive meeting at Party Headquarter Leh in presence of Jamyang Tsering Namgyal Member Parliament/ President UT Ladakh, Ashok Koul J&K General Secretary (Org) under the Presidentship of Tashi Gyaltson Khachu.
During the meeting councilors, Mandal Presidents, executive members of Youth and Mahila Morcha of Leh District were also present.
Meeting started with the offering of Khatak to Jamyang Tsering Namgail and Ashok Koul by District President Tashi Gyaltson Khachu.
Two minutes silenced was observed to mark respect for late Tundup Sonam, former LBA president/executive councilor of first LAHDC-Leh, late Tsultim from Nubra former executive councilor of LAHDC-Leh and those who lost their life in COVID-19 pandemic.
Tashi Khachu explained the different activities of the BJP in District Leh. Tables, chairs and carpet were also distributed to newly formed Mandals.
Councilors, Mandal presidents, District Youth Vice President RD, of the Leh District also shared their experiences and put forth demands and difficulties before MP Jamyang Tsering Namgail.
Ashok Koul highlighted the different schemes of the BJP government and the different steps taken by the government to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Namgail expressed his satisfaction over the different developmental works in UT Ladakh and party’s works for the service of the people of the UT.
