The decision to move shooters Lavlesh Tiwari, Arun Kumar Maurya and Mohit Singh, alias Shani, to Pratapgarh, around 65km from Prayagraj, was taken after the district magistrate mentioned in a report that the arrested killers might be targeted if they remained in the same jail as Atiq’s undertrial son Ali and a few of the family’s henchmen.
