In terms of Section 135-B of the Representation of People Act, 1951, sanction is hereby accorded to the grant of paid holiday in favour of Government employees/Semi Government employees/ Industrial Workers, who are registered voters of 04-Jalandhar (SC) Parliamentary Constituency, State of Punjab and are working in the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, for casting their vote on the day of Poll i.e. 10.05.2023 (Wednesday) on account of Bye Elections to Lok Sabha, 2023, read order below.
