JAMMU, May 4: An army chopper crashed in the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir Thursday. As many as three people were onboard the chopper when the crash happened. The incident took place in the hill district’s Marwah area, officials said.
They said that a three-member chopper ALH Dhruv took off from Kishtwar to Marwah and soon after crashed at Village Machna.
The crashing site, they said, is without connectivity hence there is delay in detailed information.
A rescue operation is underway at the site, they further said.
