India win Australia series 2-1 after 4th Test ends in draw

Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne’s century stand ensured there was no drama on the fifth day of the fourth Test in Ahmedabad as the final duel of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy ended in a draw. India needed wickets to bring life into the contest but Head and Labuschagne showed great temprament, ensuring there was no fairytale win for the hosts. The draw meant India clinched the series 2-1 and also sealed the World Test Championship final berth, courtesy a dramatic last-ball thrilling New Zealand win over Sri Lanka in the first Test in Christchurch.
