Google, Apple removes this social media app from app stores, here’s why

Wizz, a popular social media app among US teens, was recently removed from the App Store and Play Store by Google and Apple. The National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCSE) raised concerns about the app’s alleged use in sextortion scams. Wizz, owned by French company Voodoo and funded by Goldman Sachs and Tencent, allows users as young as 13 to create accounts.
