The Indian Navy foiled another piracy attempt along the east coast of Somalia in the Arabian Sea region. A fishing vessel was located successfully by a remotely piloted aircraft, and INS Sharda intercepted the vessel. The pirates were coerced into returning the hostages (11 Iranian and 8 Pakistani nationals) and the vessel safely.
