LG asks to contribute in realising vision of Viksit Bharat

GHAZIPUR, UTTAR PRADESH: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday asked the youth to take full advantage of the enormous opportunities available in diverse fields and contribute in realising the vision of Viksit Bharat.
Addressing the Convocation Ceremony of Khardiha Mahavidyalaya, Ghazipur, Sinha said youth are engine of nation’s growth and development. They will be the flag bearers of our knowledge and cultural heritage. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the progressive educational reforms have paved the way for the bright future of the younger generation, he said.
The Lt Governor congratulated the graduating students and their parents on the momentous occasion and extended his best wishes to them for all the success in the future.
He also paid homage to the great educationist and freedom fighter Brijmangal Rai.
The Lt Governor exhorted the students to imbibe the values of selfless service, compassion, social harmony, sacrifice, truth, non-violence and work for the betterment of the society. Your strong character, courage and self-confidence will lead you to overcome the challenges in life, he added.
A publication on Human Values and Human Rights was also released on the occasion.

LG attends Shri Jagjivan Ram Inter College Cultural Fest

GHAZIPUR, UTTAR PRADESH: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha attended the Annual college festival of Shri Jagjivan Ram Inter College, Nagsar, Ghazipur, on Sunday.
The Lt Governor congratulated the college management, teachers and students on the occasion.
“Educational institutions are the centers of social transformation. It is a matter of immense satisfaction that teachers, students and college administration are working with single-minded pursuit of knowledge and vocational training,” he said.
The Lt Governor impressed upon the teaching community to nurture leadership qualities among the students and create a conducive environment to develop lifelong learning skills.
Dedication, discipline and determination of youth will help the society to grow from strength to strength, the Lt Governor said.
The Lt Governor also honoured the prominent citizens for their significant contribution in diverse fields. He said, their felicitation on the occasion will inspire the youth to selflessly serve the society.
