JAMMU, Mar 23: Jammu and Kashmir Nationalist People’s Front (JKNPF) today announced Swami Divyanand Saraswati and Sheikh Muzaffar as the party candidates for the Jammu and Anantnag-Rajouri Parliamentary Constituencies.
A decision in this regard was taken by the Parliamentary Board of the party under the chairmanship of Chief Patron and founder Sanjay Kumar. Click here to watch video
Addressing media persons post announcement of the candidates, Sheikh Muzaffar said, “some dynasts have been looting the UT and its resources for the past almost 35 years.”
“These dynasts and their families have made fortunes out of the resources of the UT while the people who voted for them remained neglected as on date,” said Muzaffar.
Showering praises on Swami Divyanand Saraswati, the candidate for Jammu Parliamentary Constituency, Muzaffar said, “he is the person who has dedicated all his life for the welfare of the people as he has been constructing schools, feeding children and other needy people.”
“Our system needs candidates like Saraswati as only saints can serve the society better,” he asserted.
The press conference was attended by Party’s Youth Wing President Parteek Raina among other leaders and workers.
