Modi Govt gave new dimensions to sports throughout country: Ritika

JAMMU, Mar 23: Chief spokesperson of BJP Mahila Morcha J&K UT, Ritika Trehan today highlighted the remarkable efforts of the Modi Government in revolutionizing sports infrastructure during its 10 years of rule.
She emphasized the Government’s commitment in enhancing sports facilities and creating a conducive environment for athletes to flourish. Trehan was speaking as chief guest during an event organized to honor senior girls who demonstrated exemplary skills in national-level competitions and to cheer on junior girls as they embarked on their journey to represent J&K in the upcoming nationals in Patna, Bihar.
The event, held at MAM Stadium was a celebration of youthful talent and resilience in the realm of sports. During her address, Ritika lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his visionary Khelo India initiative, which has played a pivotal role in promoting sports and nurturing talent across the country.
Rakesh Kumar (International Kabbadi player) was present at the event along with Divisional Sports Officer Baljinder Singh (Bali), Kuldeep Gupta (general secretary, J&K Kabbadi Association), Sanjeet Kumar (Jammu district secretary), Coach Manmeet Kaur, Team Manager Ashu Chambyal, Team Captain Sonakshi Khajuria (Jammu) with other screening members.
The event concluded with Ritika personally distributing certificates to the deserving senior girls and offering words of encouragement to the junior contingent as they embarked on their quest for glory in the upcoming nationals.
