DODA, Mar 31: Police in this District today claimed to have recovered 5 litres of illicit liquor and 50 litres of Lahan.
A police spokesperson said that acting on specific information regarding manufacturing of illicit liquor, a team of Police Station Gandoh led by Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khandey assisted by PSI Parvez Ali raided the house of one Balwant Raj.
During search, he said, the team recovered 5 litres of illicit liquor and 50 litres of lahan.
Accordingly, a case FIR number 20/2024 under the relevant sections of the Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Gandoh and further investigation taken up.
