JAMMU, Mar 31: NC leader Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan has claimed that Sajad Lone’s Twitter allegations targeting NC reflects Lone’s deep-rooted affiliation with BJP and RSS.
In a handout Ch Ramzan stated that Lone’s claim regarding security, exposed stark disparity in treatment between NC Ministers and Sajad Lone as extensive privileges were given to him (Lone) by BJP.
“Despite holding ministerial positions multiple times, NC Ministers received minimal security as compared to the elaborate protection given to Lone,” he maintained accusing Lone of pre-election maneuvering by exerting influence to place officers according to his whims.
The NC leader also said that Sajad Lone claims to champion the voice of Kashmiris in Parliament but let him answer that when did he speak for Kashmiris while serving as a Minister in the Assembly.
He challenged Lone’s purported concern for Kashmiris, questioning why Lone did not resign from his ministerial position when people were being massacred, children were shot with pellets and houses were burnt in Kashmir.
“How can he credibly oppose the BJP when he owes his position to them,” Ch Ramzan continued adding: “It was Sajad Lone who paved the way for RSS in Kashmir.”
The NC leader further said that people of Kashmir are no longer susceptible to falsehoods.
