KISHTWAR, Mar 31: Police here today recovered three stolen motorcycles within 24 hours of theft.
SSP Kishtwar, Abdul Qayoom informed that Police Station Kishtwar received three different applications reporting the theft of motorcycles from different locations.
Subsequently, three FIRs with numbers 82/2025 U/S 379 IPC, 83/2024 U/S 379 IPC and 84/2024 U/S 379 IPC were registered and investigations started and three special teams were constituted which were led by SHO Police Station Kishtwar, Inspector Firdous Ahmed, under the supervision of Dy. SP Headquarters, Kishtwar, Dr. Ishan Gupta.
After meticulous investigative work, Police questioned many suspects which led to successful recovery of all three stolen motorcycles.
SSP Kishtwar has said that whole of the town is under CCTV coverage and the activities there are being minutely monitored 24×7 by a special team of Police.
