A former Congress MLA from Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri district and a group of local party leaders have switched sides to join the BJP, causing a member of the Congress to label them as “betrayers.” In the lead-up to the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP had initiated a drive to bring dissatisfied Congress members into its ranks in Madhya Pradesh.
