JAMMU, May 9: A meeting of Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) was held here today under the chairmanship of Front president, Shadi Lal Pandita.
Speakers in the meeting demanded hike in monthly cash relief of migrant relief holders from Rs. 13,000 to Rs. 25,000 per family per month.
They also demanded employment package, compensation for burnt houses and rehabilitation of KPs by building three satellite townships near Srinagar, Baramulla and Anantnag.
Other demands raised on this occasion were interest-free bank loans for the educated over-aged KP youths so that they may start their own business.
Minority status for KPs along with two Parliamentary seats and four Assembly seats were also demanded so they can be politically empowered.
