JAMMU, May 29: Annual Holy Chhari Yatra (Mindhal Yatra) by Aadi Shakti Devi Chandike Sevak Sanstha (ASDCSS) Blassu, Doda will start from Maa Chandi Temple, Blassu, Doda from June 1, 2024.
This was informed by ASDCSS president, Prof. D.S Manhas in a press conference here today.
He also said that Mata Chandi Sevak Pyar Singh will be accompanied by thousands of pilgrims to take the Chhari Mubarak which will have night stay at Gouri Shankar Temple, Kishtwar on June 1 and at Maha Kali Temple, Sohal, Paddar on June 2 and will reach Mindhal, Pangi, HP on June 3, 2024.
“On June 4 the Mindhal Mela will be held at Maa Chandi Darbar in Mindhal and the Chhari Mubarak will return back on June 5, 2024 after night stay at Gouri Shankar Temple, Kishtwar and is scheduled to reach back at village Blassu, Doda on June 6, 2024,” Manhas maintained.
After press conference an album of devotional song ‘Chal Bhagta Mindhal Dhare’ sung by Kavita Dutt and written by Satish Kumar Dogra was also released by D.S Manhas.
Music for the devotional song was composed by RB Studio Jammu and the video was shot by Director Shashi Thakur and his team.
Senior BJP leader Yudhvir Sethi was chief guest and Sonu Manhas, BJP Ward 13 president Jammu was guest of honour on this occasion.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Prem Singh, Ajay Sethi, Ravinder Singh, Kartar Singh, Shrikant, Satish Kumar and Ram Raj.
