London, June 22 : An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted the Ascension Island Region at 0746 GMT on Saturday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicentre, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 7.05 degrees south latitude and 12.28 degrees west longitude. (Agencies)
