Cluster University organises health camp

JAMMU, Mar 7: Department of Student Welfare, Cluster University of Jammu (CUJ) here today, in collaboration with Ramakrishna Mission, successfully organized a free health camp, Book Exhibition and Awareness Talks at PSPS Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar.
This initiative was held under the patronage of Prof. K.S Chandrasekar and under the overall supervision of Prof. Raj Shree Dhar, Dean Students Welfare.
A team of qualified medical professionals conducted health assessments, including general check-ups, blood pressure monitoring and skin disease screening.
In addition to the health camp, awareness talks were conducted by experts from Ramakrishna Mission, including Swami Sarvalokananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission New Delhi and Swami Yajnadharananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. K.S Chandrasekar commended the collaborative efforts of the Department of Student Welfare and Ramakrishna Mission in fostering a culture of health consciousness among students.
Prof. Raj Shree Dhar emphasized the importance of such programmes in promoting overall well-being and encouraged the students to take proactive steps toward a healthier future.
The event also witnessed the enthusiastic participation from students, NCC cadets, NSS volunteers and faculty members.
Proceedings of the programme were carried out by Prof. Sugandha Mahajan of GCW Gandhi Nagar whereas vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Meenakshi Bandral.
