RAMBAN, Mar 7: A young man was found dead today under mysterious circumstances at a Hotel room in Ramban town.

The deceased was identified as Mohan Singh, 28, son of Tara Singh, resident of village Adhwah (Shora), Tehsil Ramban and his body was found in a room in Durga Hotel Ramban under suspicious circumstances.
After getting information in this regard, cops reached the spot and shifted the body to the mortuary of District Hospital, Ramban for post-mortem.
Sources informed that the deceased had checked into the Hotel last night along with cousins and friends.
After registering a case, Police has started investigation.
Family members of the deceased informed that he was engaged and was to be married after a month.
They also said that after remaining missing for about 14 years he had returned home 4 years back.
SHO Police Station Ramban, Vijay Kotwal informed that inquest proceedings under Section 194 BNSS were initiated at Police Station Ramban in this regard.
