SRINAGAR: A policeman’s wife and daughter were injured in an attack by militants in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, police said.
The alleged terrorists barged into the house of Constable Sajad Malik at Kokargund in Dooru area and opened fire at his wife, Nahida Jan, and daughter Madeeha, a police official said, adding they were shifted to a hospital for treatment.
Police vehicle attacked in Srinagar; no damage

Meanwhile, Unknown terrorists fired upon a police vehicle in Saida Kadal area of Srinagar city. The area falls under the jurisdiction of Police Station Rainawari.
Sources said that terrorists fired upon the vehicle when it reached near Saida Kadal. Shortly after the incident, area was cordoned off and searches were conducted. All the policemen escaped unhurt.
