STATE TIMES NEWS UDHAMPUR: Udhampur Hotel, Bar and Restaurant Association has welcomed the decision of administration for deploying the tourist officer at the Tourism Office Udhampur. Addressing a press conference President of the Association Vikram Singh Slathia thanked LG Administration for deploying the tourist officer (Vide Order no. PS/71/DT.J of 2021 Dt. 17.07.2021) at the Tourism Office Udhampur. He said that it was a welcoming decision as it was the long pending demands of the Association. “Association had several issues which was not addressed due to the absence of tourist officer” he said adding that Udhampur has a tremendous in the field of tourism and with the deployment of the tourist officer, issues will be redressed. Slathia thanked L.G J&K Manoj Sinha, Advisor to LG Baseer Ahmad Khan, Commissioner Secy Tourism, Director Tourism Jammu and also Distt. Administration Udhampur. Sanjeev Sharma, Sham Lal and others were also present on the occasion.
