JAMMU: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Jammu Kashmir is going to organize a big programmes across the state on the eve of completion of 75 years of Independence. Under this program, the national flag will be hoisted in 3305 villages of Jammu Kashmir.
On August 15, at 10 am in the morning, along with the national flag, the program will be organized with the chanting of the national anthem.
There are plans to include other people as well. Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has also appointed conveners across the state for this.
ABVP Jammu Kashmir State President Dr Permender Singh said the Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad will hoist the Tricolour at 3305 villages of Jammu Kashmir to mark the 75th anniversary of Independence and will organise events to make people aware about the freedom struggle and the sacrifices done by the freedom fighters. He said the proper planning has been done to unfurled the National Flag on the eve of completion of 75th years of independence at 3305 villages. It is very historical to all of us that we are celebrating the 75 years of independence. He further said it is the moral responsibility of the ABVP to make the youth aware of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters. ABVP Jammu Kashmir State Secretary Mukesh Manhas said that innumerable heroes has been fought in the freedom struggle to free the country from the chains of slavery. As a result of this, the dream of independence of the country came true. Remembering all these sacrifices, the celebration of 75 years of independence is historic for the country.
He said that in the freedom struggle innumerable heroes fought and sacrificed their lives, but today their mention is not visible in the pages of history. He further said the people of Jammu and Kashmir also had a great contribution in the independence of the country.
He said ABVP will hoist National Flag in 50 villages of Rajouri, 200 villages of Sunderbani, 200 villages of Kathua, 150 villages of Samba, 600 villages of Jammu district, 300 villages of Udhampur, 200 villages of Reasi, 100 villages of Ramban, 200 villages of Doda, 150 villages of Kishtwar and above 1000 villages of Kashmir.
